Wharf Rats Triumph Over Team Robert in Hard-Fought Hockey Showdown

In a thrilling display of skill and determination, the Wharf Rats emerged victorious in a closely contested hockey match against Team Robert, securing a 5-3 win in a game filled with intense action and dramatic twists.

Despite facing a deficit, they mounted a comeback effort in the third period, starting with a power play goal from #10 Brandon Goodrich at 06:56, assisted by #9 Danny Ryan, to narrow the margin to 4-2. Team Robert's momentum continued to build as #14 Colin Albee scored at 06:06, assisted by #7 Greg Robert, cutting the Wharf Rats' lead to just one goal at 4-3.

With tensions running high and the outcome hanging in the balance, the Wharf Rats delivered the decisive blow. In the dying seconds of the game, with Team Robert pressing desperately for an equalizer, Justin Perry sealed the victory for the Wharf Rats with an empty-net goal at 00:17, securing the 5-3 win and sending the crowd into a frenzy of cheers and applause.
