Gongshow wins first A-League game

Portland, Maine -- The first ever Chickadee Hockey League Premier "A" has completed and was won by Gongshow.

In the first half of the game Gongshow had a dominant 5-1 lead, but that was short-lived after a scoring surge from the Pirates decreased the four-goal deficit to just one (5-4). The Pirates though couldn't complete the comeback in the dying minutes after letting in an empty net goal to increase Gongshows lead to 6-4. Gongshow would go on to score one more to finish the game up 3 for a 7-4 final.
